Hydroponics is an exceptionally clean growing method that requires an appropriate choice of products for abundant nutrition throughout the growing process.
We recommend hydroponics only to growers who already have experience growing in soil and want to move to the next level. A very suitable transition between soil and pure hydroponics is growing in coco.
In this category, you will find a wide selection of nutrition for plants grown in hydroponic substrates. We have in stock proven fertilisers from leading brands, such as the traditional Dutch company BioNova, Canna, Advanced Hydroponics. If you are looking for products from the popular General Hydroponics brand, do not be misled: the same quality from the same manufacturer has recently been sold under a new name only: Terra Auquatica.
Be sure not to miss the value sets, which include, in addition to the base fertilisers ideal for coco, important supplements (additives). A great choice for easy beginnings as well as a value pack for experienced growers is the StarterPack BioNova Hydro Supermix.
Among two-part fertilisers, we select BioNova Nutri Forte A+B - a complete organomineral nutrition specially developed for the needs of growing in hydroponic systems. The absolute basis in the first weeks of the growing process is a root stimulator, which ensures maximum development of the plant root system. The more roots, the more space for the uptake and absorption of nutrients that you provide to plants through fertilisers and other supplements.
Just as the human body appreciates dietary supplements containing vitamins, minerals and health-beneficial enzymes, minerals and specific enzymes will also be a source of vitality for your plants. For beautiful and abundant flowers, use the power of quality flower stimulators. As the growing process nears completion, just before harvest we recommend using products intended for flushing. These products leave only beneficial bacteria available to the plants, while safely and gently removing unwanted fertiliser residues or mineral salts.
Last but not least, it is necessary to ensure sufficient protection for the plants.
Technical: All fertilisers intended primarily for use in hydroponics can also be used in soil due to their properties. However, if you grow BIO - beware of the mineral component.
