Mars Hydro is LED lighting for growers who want reliable performance at a reasonable price - from the first small tent to a fully equipped grow room. The brand covers the full power range (roughly 100 to 1000 W) in three series that differ in construction and level of equipment.
How to choose the power according to the area
The most important thing is to match the fixture to the size of the tent - overlighting a small tent or underpowering a large fixture will not help yields. As a guide:
- 60x60 to 80x80 cm - 100 to 150 W is enough (TS600, TS1000).
- 90x90 to 100x100 cm - choose 300 W (SP3000, TSW2000).
- 120x120 cm - the ideal is 450 to 480 W (TS3000, FC-4800 EVO).
- 150x150 cm and larger - 650 to 1000 W (SP6500, FC-6500 EVO, FC-1000 EVO).

You will appreciate the TS series when you are starting out or keeping an eye on your budget - a simple panel that you just hang up and switch on. SP moves to a bar design with Samsung LM301B diodes and an enhanced red spectrum, so the light penetrates deeper into the crop. FC EVO is the flagship series with a folded body and the highest efficiency - from the 300 W model for a 90x90 cm tent to 800 to 1000 W for large areas.

What area does the Mars Hydro TS3000 cover?
The TS3000 with 450 W is designed for a 120x120 cm tent. The smaller TS1000 (150 W) covers 75x75 to 80x80 cm, while the basic TS600 (100 W) covers 60x60 to 70x70 cm.
What is the difference between the SP and FC series?
Both are bar fixtures with Samsung diodes. SP is a one-piece fixture for even coverage of a narrower area, while FC EVO has a folded body made of multiple bars, higher outputs (up to 1000 W), and is intended for maximum yield and commercial operation.
Do Mars Hydro fixtures have dimming?
The higher SP and FC series allow power adjustment, so you can adapt the light to the growth and flowering stages. With the FC EVO series, multiple fixtures can be linked and controlled together.
