Ebb & Flow Hydroponic Systems

Everything you need for the Ebb & Flow method, also known as “Flood and Drain” or the flood and drain system. In hydroponics, it is considered a moderately demanding way of cultivating plants and is among the most widespread. It is a practical, highly versatile irrigation system suitable both for hydroponic media and for growing in pots. The whole cycle is controlled by a timer, which, when switched on, starts the submersible pump filling the filling plastic table or ebb tray with nutrient solution. Once the pump stops, the water with nutrients in this system flows back under gravity into the tank and is then reused. This efficient technique allows the root system to be covered very well so that it always has enough oxygen, moisture and nutrients essential for plant development. Another advantage is that during each flood, residues of unabsorbed nutrients from the last watering dissolve.
