Do you want to start growing at home, but do not want to put the equipment together piece by piece? 250W kits combine a grow tent, discharge lighting and ventilation into one setup tuned for a smaller growing space - typically a tent around 60x60 cm. They are our smallest discharge HPS kits, ideal for getting started.

250W kit is the smallest of the discharge growing kits - a ready-made setup with a tent, a 250 W HPS lamp and ventilation, which you simply assemble after delivery and start growing. It is suitable for beginners and for smaller spaces, typically a tent of around 60x60 cm, where stronger light has nowhere to shine and would only cause overheating.
Who is the 250W kit for
A 250 W lamp is an entry-level power class. It can light a few plants in a compact tent and is the most energy-efficient of the discharge options. As soon as you want a larger area or higher yield, you can move up to 400W kits or 600W kits - the simple rule is that more watts = more light and a larger illuminated area, but also more heat that needs to be extracted.
Version with filter, or without?
With 250W kits, you usually choose between a version with a carbon filter and one without. The filter deals with odours - it removes the scent of plants from the air leaving the tent, which you will appreciate in a flat. If you do not need to deal with odours, the version without a filter saves you both space and costs.
- Kit without filter - basic setup of tent, lamp and ventilation - for spaces where the scent does not matter.
- Kit with filter - additionally a carbon filter on the extract, which captures odours - a typical choice for a flat.
What you will find in the kit
The basis is a grow tent with a reflective inner layer, discharge lighting with a ballast and air handling for air exchange. The kits are designed so that the components match in size and output - so you do not have to check whether the fan suits the tent or the lamp suits the cooling. The setup can also be adjusted according to your requirements.
Can a beginner handle a 250W kit?
Yes, that is exactly what it is built for. The components are matched in advance, so the most common beginner worry falls away - whether everything fits together. Just assemble the setup according to the instructions.
How big a tent for a 250W lamp?
A compact tent of around 60x60 cm is suitable for 250 W. The smaller space makes good use of the light and avoids waste and overheating, which would occur in a larger tent with such a low output.
