What is the difference between a table and a tumbler trimmer?
A table trimmer has a rotating screen under a rotating brush and is suitable for smaller batches. A tumbler model moves the material inside a rotating cylinder with blades and can handle a much larger volume - it is the choice for more demanding harvests.
Can I trim fresh and dried material?
It depends on the model. Some trimmers are designed for wet trim, others for dry trim, and some models can handle both. On tumbler trimmers, the mode is usually stated directly in the name, so check it before buying.
Can the speed be adjusted on electric trimmers?
Most models have speed control, allowing you to adapt the pace to the delicacy of the material and the gentleness of the cut. Height-adjustable blades also help with cut quality and cleaning.
