Zerum is a range of non-toxic products that do not mask unpleasant odours with fragrance, but chemically neutralise them directly in the air. They are suitable for growing spaces, cars, homes and commercial premises - anywhere you want to truly remove odours, not just cover them up.
How to choose the right form Zerum offers several types depending on how large the space is and how strong the odour problem is:
- Zerum PRO Gel - an evaporating gel in packs from 400 g up to 12.5 kg. Place it in the space and it continuously neutralises odours; the larger pack handles larger rooms and premises.
- Zerum PRO Spray - a spray for immediate action against odours in a room or on textiles. The Citronela version also acts as a repellent.
- Zerum CAR Spray - a compact odour neutraliser for the car and for travel.
- Zerum Nebula diffuser - a device for dispersing Zerum Esencia refill, for long-term climate control in larger spaces.
- Zerum BLOC Stick - a solid block with a strong absorbing substance, practical where you do not want to deal with liquids.
How Zerum works The active ingredient binds odour molecules and breaks them down, so after it fades there is no replacement perfume left behind, just neutral air. The products are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, so you can use them even in living spaces.
Zerum, or a carbon filter? The two complement each other. Carbon filter cleans the extracted air directly in the ventilation, while Zerum deals with residual odour in the space, in the car or where extraction does not reach. For complete odour control, a combination of both works well.
Does Zerum neutralise odour, or just cover it up? Zerum binds and breaks down odour molecules, so it is not about masking with fragrance - that is why the air smells neutral after use, not artificial.
Is Zerum safe in the home? Yes, the products are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, suitable for flats, cars and premises.
How long does the gel last? It depends on the pack size and odour intensity - the gels evaporate gradually, and larger packs (from 900 g upwards) last significantly longer in the space than small pocket versions.
