Control Units
Control units enable fully automated control of the growing space.
From adding CO2 to automatic fertiliser dosing, pH adjustment and water into the tank with nutrient solution.

List of products
Control units take control of the entire growing space - based on data from sensors, they switch and regulate lighting, intake and extract air, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, heating, CO2 dosing and watering. Instead of manually monitoring temperature and humidity, you get a stable microclimate that maintains the set values even in your absence.
How to choose a control unit
Decide according to how many devices you want to control and how far you want to go with automation:
- Trolmaster - the modular Hydro-X system built around a central unit and a temperature, humidity, light and CO2 sensor. It can be expanded with dozens of modules: lighting adapters (0-10 V protocol, HID and LED), EC fan control, air conditioning, dosing and alarms. A solution for those who want to gradually build a professional grow room.
- GroLab - the GroNode control core takes care of watering, lighting and climate via PowerBot, SoilBot and TankBot modules. Waterproof temperature sensors and flood detectors are available for protection against water leaks.
- Growlink - the Climalink sensor measures temperature, humidity, light, VPD and CO2 in real time, so you can optimise photosynthesis according to the actual conditions in the space.
The easiest way to automation is through one central unit with a main sensor, to which you gradually add modules according to what you want to control. For hydroponics and larger operations, control of EC, pH and nutrient solution flow is also worthwhile.
The systems are listed by brand in the subcategories Trolmaster, GroLab and Growlink. The control unit is also logically associated with CO2 dosing, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, which the unit switches on.
Frequently asked questions
What can a control unit control?
Depending on the range of modules, it can switch and regulate lighting, intake and extract air, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, heating, air conditioning, CO2 dosing and watering - and control them according to temperature, humidity, VPD or CO2 level.
Do I need separate sensors for the unit?
Central units are supplied with a main combined sensor (temperature, humidity, light, and optionally CO2). Additional probes - for example pH, EC or a flood detector - are added as needed.
Is a control unit suitable for hydroponics too?
Yes. Systems such as Trolmaster Aqua-X can use the relevant modules and probes to monitor pH, EC and nutrient solution temperature and also control flow, so you have not only the climate but also the nutrition under control.
