The resulting geometry of the microfibres and submicron pores inside the microfibre creates a highly reflective and diffusive surface. Simply put, the film lets humid air out of the grow room while helping to maintain a constant temperature. It reflects 99% of light!
These properties sound familiar, don’t they? The fact that such a film comes from Canada is no coincidence - the manufacturer was inspired by the excellent insulating and reflective material that is plentiful in Canada in winter. After all, a snowflake works on the same principle.
The result is excellent light distribution throughout the grow room, which helps lighting efficiency and therefore plant growth.
Orca film clearly has the highest reflectivity among the materials used in indoor growing.
