Whether you are sowing seeds or taking cuttings, at the start you need a medium in which they will root quickly. ROOT!T propagation cubes and kits offer rooting sponges and peat-free coconut plugs - separately, in cell trays or in complete propagators with starter feed.

ROOT!T is a range of propagation aids - rooting sponges, peat-free coconut fibre plugs, propagators and complete mini greenhouses. ROOT!T medium maintains stable moisture and airiness, so seeds and cuttings germinate and root more easily in it. Choose according to whether you want just the cubes for your propagator, or a ready-made kit with everything you need together.
What ROOT!T media are available
- Natural Rooting Sponges (zakořeňovací houby) - soft sponge cubes for propagating from seeds and cuttings, for example in packs of 60.
- Dry Peat Free plugs from coconut - a peat-free coconut fibre option for planting and rooting cuttings; also available individually to top up.
Kits by number of plants
The most convenient option is a ready-made kit. Cell Filled Trays come with sponges and coconut plugs in versions for 24 or 60 seedlings. If you want a propagator as well, choose propagation kits:
- 24 Cell Propagator Kit - a small unheated propagator with a ventilation flap, a propagator and 24 coconut plugs.
- 60 Cell Propagator Kit - a medium propagator with ventilation flaps, a propagator and 60 plugs.
- ROOT!T COMPLETE propagator for 60 seedlings - propagator, propagator, rooting sponges and starter feed in one.
Complete propagators also include ROOT!T starter feed, so you do not need to deal with fertilising straight after planting. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between sponges and Dry Peat Free plugs?
Rooting sponges are soft and versatile for seeds and cuttings. Dry Peat Free plugs are made from coconut fibre and are a peat-free, more eco-friendly option for planting and rooting cuttings.
Do I need a propagator for ROOT!T?
A propagator keeps moisture stable, and germination and rooting work better in it. If you are growing in a more humid environment, you can manage with just the propagator and cell tray.
Does the kit include feed?
Complete ROOT!T propagators include starter feed, so young plants get their first supply of nutrients straight after planting.
