If you plan only 3 smaller plants on a smaller 40x40 or 50x50 cm footprint, a more economical set of around 45 to 65 W will be enough. On the other hand, once you want an 80x80 cm tent or more plants, one hundred watts will start to lose light at the edges and it makes sense to choose a higher power level.
