Are whiteflies, spider mites, aphids, ants, slugs, Colorado potato beetles, bedbugs, cockroaches or other vermin after your plants? In this category you will find prevention against their infestation as well as chemical products (insecticides, etc.) for the rapid elimination of pests. For example, this new product works against sucking and chewing insects.

A classic handy solution is reliable sticky arrows and boards, which put a stop to flying insects. Yellow arrows are mainly used at home to protect houseplants, and boards take care of vegetables, or fruit, including in a greenhouse, in the garden or if you have fruit trees in an orchard. The range also includes moth traps, or moth traps. In the growing room and in the home, fruit flies are also a common problem, and another effective trap deals with them thanks to a food attractant. The traps in our range are complemented by those from Biocont for catching pests of houseplants.

An excellent helper for gardeners, fruit growers and winegrowers is the Czech product AgroBio Spintor. From the traditional manufacturer from Opava, when fighting chewing and sucking insects, it pays to get an effective weapon in the form of a product with the fitting name Karate. It will be an uneven battle, but your plants will remain untouched.

The mole repellent will rid your garden or yard of molehills. We also have various mouse and rat traps in a wide range of variants in stock.

And finally, the damage in a bed or growing room may not be caused only by pests, but sometimes also by the whims of pets, whether your own or perhaps your neighbours’. The solution is repellents for cats or dogs.

It should be noted that although the products in our range are very effective, you will maximise their application by keeping the growing area always clean and regularly checking the condition of individual plants.

How do I get rid of fungus gnats in a pot?

Fungus gnats hatch from larvae in the moist surface of the substrate, so the first step is to let the top layer of the substrate dry out and reduce overwatering. Adults can be caught on yellow sticky arrows, while larvae in the substrate are dealt with by targeted biological products. A combination of both approaches works more reliably than either one alone.

Do yellow sticky boards help against aphids and whiteflies?

Yes, the yellow colour strongly attracts flying pests, so boards and arrows serve both as a warning signal and as a trap for adult whiteflies, aphids and fungus gnats. However, they do not completely eliminate the population - as a standalone measure they work best with light infestations and as a supplement to spraying in more severe cases.

When should I choose biological protection and when an insecticide?

For preventive care and light infestations of houseplants and useful plants, biological products and sticky traps are enough. In the event of a severe outbreak, when there is a risk of crop loss, quick action with an insecticide is appropriate - always according to the instructions and with regard to the pre-harvest interval for edible crops.

How can I prevent repeated infestation?

The basis is regular inspection of the underside of leaves, where pests appear first, a clean growing area without plant debris, and balanced watering. A healthy plant that is not over-fertilised or overwatered is a much less attractive target for pests.
