How does Biofilm Buster PRO work?

The secret of its effectiveness lies in live bacterial cultures, especially Lactobacillus casei, which literally “eat” organic and mineral deposits. These microorganisms break down biofilm – the slimy layer of bacteria and nutrients that is the main cause of blockages in pipes, hoses and drippers. It can even handle limescale and other mineral build-ups that ordinary products do not remove.

Dosage and application

Important: Always use with non-chlorinated water, because chlorine destroys active microorganisms.

• Emergency cleaning (heavily clogged system): Use a ratio of 10 ml per 1 litre of water.
• Preventive maintenance: A dose of 2 ml per 1 litre of water is sufficient.
• Gravity systems (e.g. Autopot): Add 2–4 ml per 1 litre of water with each tank refill.

After application, let the solution flow through the entire system and then switch it off. Leave it to work for at least 8 hours so the bacteria have enough time to do their job. You can then use the system normally again without the need for flushing.
