Hammer Reflectors

Hammer reflectors are among the most widely used types of reflectors for growing with high-pressure discharge lamps (HPS/MH). They are characterised by a hammered surface and a V-groove, which better disperses light to the sides and thus helps cover the growing area more evenly than a simple flat reflector.

The reflective surface is designed for lamps in the 250 to 600 W range and the reflectivity is around 90%, so as much light as possible from the lamp reaches the growing space. The reflectors are supplied complete, including the socket and wired cable, so all you need to do is connect them to the ballast and hang them above the plants.

The ventilated version also allows connection to an extract system, which helps carry heat away from the lamp out of the growing space - especially appreciated in smaller or less well-ventilated tents.
