Zeolite
Zeolite is a natural crystalline mineral that is added to growing medium as an additive to improve its structure and its ability to manage water and nutrients. We offer it in two fractions - finer 1-2.5 mm and coarser 4-8 mm.

Zeolite is a natural crystalline hydrated aluminosilicate of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals (calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium), which is used as an additional additive to growing medium. It is a purely natural material, non-toxic and non-allergenic, suitable even for mixes for more sensitive plants or herbs.
In growing medium, zeolite works primarily as a regulator - it can capture excess moisture and later gradually release it, thereby balancing fluctuations in moisture around the roots. It behaves similarly with nutrients, helping to keep them within reach of the root system instead of being quickly washed out during watering, and thus contributes to more even growth.
There are two fractions to choose from - finer 1-2.5 mm, which is suitable for finer growing medium mixes or for younger plants, and coarser 4-8 mm, which growers more often add to the drainage layer at the bottom of the pot or to growing medium for more mature plants with a greater need for aeration. Both fractions can also be combined with classic perlite or vermiculite depending on the structure of growing medium you need.
