Pure Pot Fabric Pots

Roots in plastic keep circling and the plant needlessly loses strength. Pure Pot fabric pots made from breathable geotextile let the roots breathe and naturally prune them, so the plant builds a dense, healthy root ball. Choose a volume from 4 to 170 litres; larger models have practical handles.

Pure Pot fabric pots are geotextile containers for growers who care about a healthy root system. The breathable wall made of fibre resistant to biological degradation lets air through to the roots and removes excess moisture - the roots do not overheat, do not rot, and instead of circling around the wall they are naturally pruned (so-called air-pruning). The result is a denser root ball and a plant that absorbs water and nutrients better.

Which Pure Pot volume to choose

The Pure Pot range covers the full spectrum from small to large-scale growing containers, so you can choose according to the size of the plant and the growth stage:

  • 4 and 8 l - seedlings, pre-growing and smaller plants without handles.
  • 11, 19 and 26 l - the most common sizes for one plant in a tent or on a balcony; from 19 l with handles for easy carrying.
  • 38 to 57 l - mature plants and longer vegetative growth, where you want to give the roots space.
  • 76 to 170 l - outdoor and large-scale containers for perennials and saplings.

Fabric pots are suitable for soil and coco substrates. Thanks to their breathability, they dry out faster, so expect slightly more frequent watering than with plastic - but you will avoid waterlogging and root rot more easily. If you are deciding between fabric and plastic, take a look at our guide below.

Frequently asked questions

Why grow in a fabric pot instead of a plastic one?

The fabric wall aerates the roots and naturally prunes them, so the plant forms a denser root ball and absorbs nutrients better. At the same time, it removes excess moisture, which reduces the risk of root rot.

How often should plants in a fabric pot be watered?

Because the fabric is breathable, it dries out faster, so it is usually watered slightly more often than in plastic. Follow the moisture of the substrate, not a fixed interval - in heat and wind it dries out faster.

Can Pure Pot fabric pots be washed and reused?

Yes. The geotextile is durable and can be reused across seasons after emptying and washing.

Which volume should I choose for one plant in a tent?

The most versatile choice is usually 11 to 26 l - enough space for the roots and at the same time a size that fits into most tents. For larger plants, choose 38 l and more.
