Measuring Sets
Do you want to measure pH and EC without buying each device separately? Measuring sets combine both metres, calibration solutions and accessories into one package - they work out cheaper than individual items and keep your growing equipment together. The range includes Milwaukee sets and combined Bluelab metres, from basic equipment to cases for demanding growers.

Measuring sets are a cost-effective all-in-one option.
We recommend the Milwaukee KIT measuring set. It includes a combination of waterproof Milwaukee pH55 and Milwaukee EC60 metres, including original calibration solutions. This gives you sufficient coverage for measuring pH, EC, temperature and the proportion of total dissolved solids (TDS).
The set above is excellent, but we also think of demanding professionals who will appreciate even more the practical case containing two top-quality metres, pH metre and EC metre MW 302. The plastic cover protects the laboratory instruments and allows easy handling, so you always have all the necessary measuring equipment at hand.
Frequently asked questions about measuring sets
Is a set more worthwhile than buying a pH and EC metre separately?
If you need to monitor both values - and in controlled growing it is practically always worthwhile - a set is more practical. The devices are matched, the included calibration solutions fit the given metres, and you have everything in one package. Separate metres only make sense if you really need to measure only pH or only EC.
Is a measuring set suitable for beginners too?
Yes, a set is ideal for a start - you get complete equipment without the risk of forgetting to buy something later. You can choose a Bluelab combined metre that displays both pH and EC on one device, or a set of two separate Milwaukee testers that you can easily expand later.
What is the difference between EC and TDS?
Both indicate the amount of dissolved nutrients in the solution. EC (electrical conductivity) is given in mS/cm and is a directly measured value; TDS (total dissolved solids) is a conversion of EC to ppm. Devices such as the Milwaukee KIT can display both values, so you can work with instructions written in both units.
Can a worn probe be replaced in the set?
With quality devices, yes - pH and EC electrodes are consumable parts and wear out over time. Replacement probes can be bought separately, so you do not need to buy a whole new device. Store the electrodes in storage solution, as this will significantly extend their service life.
