    Adjust A Wings is an Australian brand of digital ballasts for Double Ended (DE) lamps, especially appreciated where you want to get maximum output from a single fixture over a larger area. The HELLION and DEFENDER ranges operate at 600 to 1000 W and feature 0-10V control for network integration with GAVITA controllers.

    Adjust A Wings manufactures digital ballasts for professional and advanced home growers who rely on Double Ended lamps and reflector hoods instead of classic greenhouse fixtures. Sets such as DEFENDER HELLION combine the ballast and hood into one functional unit, so there is no need to assemble components from different manufacturers.

    When choosing, follow mainly the output of the lamp you want to run - the range includes versions for 600, 750 and 1000 W DE lamps, and the voltage (230V vs. 400V for higher outputs in commercial grow rooms). Control is also important: thanks to the 0-10V input, dozens to hundreds of units can be linked via UTP cabling to one central controller, typically from GAVITA, allowing you to control the entire room from one place.

    The standalone HELLION 750W ballast is a suitable choice if you already have a hood or only need to replace the electronics. Complete sets, on the other hand, make sense when building a new grow room from scratch.
