These peat-based cubes have the ideal structure for creating the right level of air and moisture and supporting the rapid development of roots in a wide range of plant species.

What is Root Riot suitable for - seeds or cuttings?

For both. The sponge-like structure of the cubes retains constant moisture and airiness, so seeds germinate and cuttings root in them. Each cube has a pre-formed hole where you simply place the cutting or seed.

Do I need to soak and feed Root Riot before use?

The cubes only need to be lightly moistened - they should not be soaked, just damp. The medium itself contains no nutrients, so after germination and root development, switch to a weak nutrient solution for seedlings.

Which Root Riot pack should I choose?

For a few plants, individual cubes are enough; for home pre-growing, the 24-piece pack with a propagator works well; and those taking cuttings on a larger scale should choose the 50, 77 or 100 cube pack. The easiest start is offered by the complete propagation and planting set.

How do I transplant Root Riot further?

As soon as roots grow through the cube, transplant it whole into the target medium - substrate, coco or hydroponics. The cube is compostable, roots grow through it freely, and the plant does not suffer transplant shock.
