CalMag is a high-quality calcium and magnesium supplement. CalMag is used mainly when using reverse osmosis, filtered and soft water. Magnesium is essential for chlorophyll production and therefore photosynthesis. Calcium is crucial for the acidity level and therefore nutrient uptake. A deficiency may be shown, among other things, by chlorosis (yellowing of the leaves between the veins) and slowed growth.
