720W LED Grow Lights

600W - 720W LED grow lights are powerful and energy-efficient solutions for growing plants indoors. These lights use advanced LED technology, which provides full-spectrum light supporting healthy plant growth at all stages of development - from germination through growth to flowering. Thanks to their low heat output, they eliminate the risk of overheating while also offering a long service life measured in tens of thousands of hours. These lights are suitable for growing a wide range of plants, including herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers. They are an ideal choice for both professional growers and home gardeners.

Our range also includes complete 720W LED Sets.

720W is the point where LED lighting leaves the category for a single tent and starts covering an entire grow room. This output is suitable for an area of around 1.2x1.2 to 1.5x1.5 m and is ideal for growers who want to make the most of the space at every stage of growth.

What to look for when choosing

Besides the power input itself, the main factor is efficiency stated in µmol/J - the higher the number, the more light for photosynthesis you get from each watt of electricity. For 720W lights, this commonly ranges between 2.5 and 3.1 µmol/J today. The second parameter is PPF (total light output in µmol/s) - on more powerful units it exceeds 1900 µmol/s. You should also consider full spectrum for growth and flowering in one light, dimming options, and whether the panel has a built-in ballast or is controlled externally.

The range includes models for different grower levels:

  • Lazerlite PRO 720W - efficiency 3.1 µmol/J, integrated dimmer and foldable design for easy installation
  • Maxibright Varidrive 2 - 2.9 µmol/J, foldable construction, area 1.2x1.2 to 1.5x1.5 m
  • Gorilla 720W GEN-III - Samsung and Osram diodes, PPF 1944 µmol/s, IP65 rating for moisture resistance
  • Lumatek Zeus 600W PRO - 3.1 µmol/J and PPF 1990 µmol/s, aimed more at experienced growers
  • Dimlux Xplore 730W - 3.0 µmol/J with patented optics for even area coverage

Higher efficiency usually means a higher purchase price, but also lower consumption per unit of harvested yield and less heat load on the tent - this matters especially where you are already dealing with heat extraction from grow lighting together with ventilation.

Where does a 150x150 cm area make sense

A 720W light sits on the boundary between a medium and a large tent. For smaller spaces or supplementary lighting, it makes sense to choose a lower output; by contrast, in professional setups 720W panels are often combined in multiple units.

How much heat does an LED panel actually emit?

Less than a comparably powerful discharge lamp, which makes it easier to maintain a stable temperature in the tent, but even a 720W LED still needs heat removal through ventilation - no light of this power is completely without load.

Does a 720W LED need an external ballast?

Not always - many models have the ballast integrated directly into the body of the light, while others (for example Maxibright Varidrive) are also sold with a separate controller for easier servicing.

We are happy to leave the choice between specific models to a consultation - write to info@higarden.eu and we will discuss which output and spectrum suit your space.
