Dosatron

Dosatron is a proportional doser that mixes fertiliser or additives into flowing water in a precisely set ratio - and it does not need electricity or batteries to work. The whole mechanism is driven by the pressure of the flowing water, so the nutrient dose remains constant regardless of fluctuations in flow and pressure. For growers, this means that every plant receives a solution of the same concentration, whether you are watering one row or an entire grow room.

How to choose a Dosatron

The key parameters are two: maximum water flow and dosing ratio range. Depending on the size of the operation, you can choose between individual dosers and complete systems:

• Dosatron D15 - a doser with a ratio of 0.05-0.5% and a flow rate of up to 1200 l/h, suitable for smaller and medium-sized irrigation. The basis for Dosatron Hobby System.
• Dosatron D3 - professional dosers with a higher flow rate of 3000 l/h, available with ratios of 0.03-0.3% and 0.2-2% for more demanding applications.
• Dosatron Hobby System - a modular irrigation system with multiple pumps that can dose several components at once. You can add a Mixing Chamber for more thorough mixing of the solution, a Monitor Plumbing Kit for connecting measurement, or a Water Hammer Arrestor against pressure surges.
• Hydroponic Standard Start Kit - a starter kit with parts for supplying nutrient solution, ideal for systems with constant inlet pressure.

Dosatron is a solution wherever you want to simplify irrigation and feeding as much as possible and be sure of the same solution concentration. Does Dosatron need electricity?

No. The doser is powered exclusively by the pressure of flowing water, so it works without electricity or batteries and is also suitable where there is no socket nearby.

What does proportional dosing mean?

Dosatron always mixes nutrients in the same percentage ratio to the amount of water flowing through. You set the ratio (for example 0.05-0.5%), and the doser maintains it regardless of fluctuations in flow and pressure.

How do I choose the right model according to the size of the operation?

Flow rate and dosing range are decisive. For smaller irrigation, a model with a flow rate of up to 1200 l/h is enough; for large operations, choose a version up to 3000 l/h or the modular Hobby System, which can handle several components at once.
