Garden accessories are a collection of small aids that save time and effort in everyday plant care - from support for growing stems through tying to labelling sowings and convenient watering. They are not the main stars of the grow room, but without them work becomes unnecessarily complicated.
What you will find here and what it is for
- Supports and poles - bamboo poles and PVC support poles in various heights, plus adjustable circular supports, keep stems upright so they do not break under the weight of fruit. You can find a wider selection in plant support.
- Tying - tying wires (soft and rigid PVC), rubberised twist ties and Plant Strapper tying pliers allow you to tie branches gently, without cutting into the stem.
- Labelling tags and markers - white and black tags and waterproof markers so you can keep track of sowings and varieties.
- Watering and timers - watering cans, garden buckets and analogue and digital watering timers for automatic irrigation; a wider selection in the sprayers and watering cans category.
How to choose
For supports, follow the target height of the plant - the pole should be taller than the growing stem. With tying elements, gentleness matters: rubberised or soft wire does not constrict the stem as much as thin string. For tying on a larger scale, Plant Strapper pliers speed up the work by applying the tape with one press. And if you do not want to monitor watering manually, choose a timer - just connect it to the tap and set the interval.
From proven brands, you will find Garland (tags, markers), URBAN (watering timers), LightHouse (tying wires) and our own Higarden aids such as bamboo poles and labelling tags. Related categories also include garden tools and geotextiles.
How tall a plant support should you choose?
Choose according to the final height of the plant - the pole or support should extend above the mature stem so it has something to lean on. That is why we offer bamboo and PVC poles in several lengths from roughly 70 to 120 cm.
Which tying material will not damage the stem?
The gentlest are soft and rubberised wires with a flexible core - they adapt to the stem and do not cut into it. Thin string, by contrast, can damage the plant as it grows.
Is a watering timer worth it?
If you are away or do not want to water by hand every day, yes. A timer connected to the tap starts irrigation automatically at set intervals, so plants do not go without water even when you are away.
