Rhino Skin is a silicate supplement from Advanced Nutrients designed for growers who want to strengthen plant tissues and prepare the plant for the weight of heavy flowers. It supplies potassium silicate - a form of silicon that is missing from most fertilisers and root zones, so the plant often has nowhere to draw it from.

How Rhino Skin works

You get stronger stems and leaves because silicon fills and strengthens the spaces between cell walls and coats them. Strengthened tissue stays upright better under intense lighting, tolerates drought better and is less prone to disease, so the plant can support denser and heavier flowers without breaking or drooping.

Dosage and use

You apply Rhino Skin at 2 ml per litre of water and use it practically throughout the entire cycle - in vegetative growth weeks 1 to 4 and in flowering weeks 1 to 7. Omit it only in the final flush week. It is applied to the root zone through watering. It has a neutral pH (approximately 5.7), so it does not affect the pH of the nutrient solution and fits smoothly into the pH Perfect system.

Rhino Skin is a whole-cycle support, not a flowering trigger - it runs alongside your base nutrient and other supplements.
