Cables are essential for any electrical installation. Whether you are growing under any type of lighting, they will be useful not only in the grow room, but also in the home. Some reflectors or magnetic ballasts and other appliances do not come with a cable already connected, so it is necessary to buy one separately. For this reason, our range also includes power cables and connectors. If you have really big plans, you will find cable without ends in a 100 m coil useful.
You will also find sockets and plugs here. Naturally, there are also extension cables - couplers with one output or multiple sockets. The range also includes splitter sockets, which are always useful, and surge protection for safer electrical installation.

Without the right cable, you cannot connect even the best light. In this section you will find everything you need to connect the ballast, reflector, fan and LED into a functional and safe whole - from short power leads to extension cables with several sockets. Choose according to what you need to supply power to and where.
Which cable for what
The type of end and the length matter. The most common groups are:
- Power cables with IEC end - supply power from the socket to an appliance with an IEC input (ballast, LED, fan)
- Cables for reflectors with IEC connector (male) - connect the reflector and lamp with an electronic ballast
- GST connectors for ballasts - fit, for example, the Lumatek range of 250 to 1000 W ballasts
- Extension cables with switch - available with 3 or 5 sockets, lengths from 3 to 10 m, cross-section 3x1.5 mm
- Cable without ends in a 100 m coil - for larger installations where you cut the lengths yourself
What to watch out for when choosing
Pay attention to the conductor cross-section - a thicker 1.5 mm can handle a higher load than a thinner 1 mm and is suitable for more powerful appliances. For extension leads, consider the number of sockets in advance so you do not have to chain several units together. For more sensitive electronics, surge protection is worthwhile, as it will protect the equipment during fluctuations in the mains. You can also add separate sockets and plugs when assembling the power supply to measure.
Practical solutions for specific brands are also available - for example, Lumatek connecting cables for serial LED connection or the GENT G-LED link for linkable luminaires. Most common power leads are from the Emos brand.
Does it matter which cable cross-section I use?
It does. The cross-section must match the load - for more powerful appliances choose 1.5 mm, while a thinner 1 mm is enough for small electronics. An undersised cable heats up unnecessarily.
Can I connect several extension leads in series?
It is better not to. Chaining increases resistance and the risk of overload - a single longer extension lead with enough sockets is better.
What is the GST connector for?
It is used to connect ballasts with this type of input, for example the Lumatek range. You can also connect a standard power cable to the connector.
Why deal with surge protection separately?
It protects expensive electronics from damage caused by overvoltage in the mains - with LED panels and controllers, the investment pays off with the first stronger storm.
