Cooltube Reflectors

Lamps therefore need to be placed further away from plants, which can be a problem if the crops themselves are tall. High-pressure lamps are still a popular solution for artificial lighting for many indoor gardeners around the world. However, lamps create heat when in use, which can cause plant wilting, scorching and similar problems. To reduce the temperature in the room or at least prevent it from being concentrated in one place, growers use fans that exchange the air in the space or circulation fans that improve air flow.
If this is exactly your case, it may be time to consider installing a Cool Tube. It is an elegant solution - simply connect the reflector with the lamp to the tent's extract ventilation and the temperature will drop much more efficiently. The lamp is separated from the tent environment and the heat does not reach the plants anywhere near as much. This makes it possible to hang the light source closer to the plants - which is especially practical for those of us who grow taller crops.
