Composting is the easiest way to make use of garden and kitchen waste and obtain quality humus for growing.
A plastic composter is the foundation—you will find volumes from 280 to 1,000 litres in our range, mostly with larger ventilation openings for proper air circulation and a modular design for easy tool-free assembly. The larger openings and sturdy construction also prevent odours from spreading and protect the contents from the weather.
The decomposition process can be accelerated with bacterial and herbal compost accelerators—available as a concentrate, granules or a herbal extract made from nettle and chamomile. Some accelerators also help limit rotting, mould in the compost or the germination of weed seeds.
When choosing a composter, the main factors are the size of your garden and the amount of waste—for normal household use, a smaller volume of around 300–450 litres is sufficient, while for a larger garden, a composter over 600 litres is worthwhile.
