NFT Hydroponic Systems
NFT system (Nutrient Film Technique) grows plants without a growing medium - the roots are in direct contact with a thin flow of nutrient solution, giving them constant access to nutrients and oxygen at the same time. It is the cleanest hydroponic method, rewarding attention paid to system setup with vigorous growth.
We will be happy to advise you on choosing the size of an NFT system according to the number of plants at info@higarden.eu.

In this category you will find first-class products designed for hydroponic growing using the NFT (Nutrient Film Technique).
The cleanest hydroponic method does not require any growing medium. Unlike other methods, it does require a little more effort and attention, but the growth that plants show in these systems can sometimes be breathtaking!
Why is that? The plant root system is in constant contact with a steadily flowing nutrient solution. The roots are not fully submerged, so they take only as much as they need. The root system is usually higher than the level of nutrient-saturated water, allowing plants to develop in the nutrient solution and in the air at the same time. In the end, they have constant access to nutrients and oxygen, which results in fantastic yields, often up to 4 times higher than in the case of cultivation in soil or growing medium.
In practice, you will also appreciate the minimal operating costs and electricity consumption. In NFT systems you can use any fertilisers for hydroponics.
A leading manufacturer of NFT systems is the British company Nutriculture. Its smallest NFT irrigation system can easily hold 3 plants. For growing on a square metre, choose the NFT Gro Tank PRO. The Multi-duct will in turn enable you to cultivate a larger number of herbs in side-by-side "channels".
