HERCULES Saucers

When excess watering runs through a HERCULES pot in the tent, something has to catch it reliably. HERCULES saucers made of hardened plastic keep water and substrate where they belong and protect the grow room floor. Choose round saucers according to the diameter of the base of your pot.

Not sure which saucer fits your pot? Write to us at info@higarden.cz and we will be happy to fine-tune the size.

Original Hercules saucers made of hardened plastic perform an indispensable function especially indoors, when more water runs through the pot. You can choose a square or round shape in suitable dimensions according to the pot.

Why a quality saucer is worth it

In the tent and on the windowsill, a saucer does quiet but important work - it catches excess water that would otherwise end up on the floor and keeps the area around the pot tidy. The hardened plastic of HERCULES saucers can withstand the weight of a full pot and does not deform even when carried repeatedly. The captured water also serves as a small reserve from which the plant can draw during the day.

Which size to choose

We offer round HERCULES saucers in diameters from 20 to 35 cm. Always choose a size slightly larger than the base of the pot so that the water really fits inside and does not overflow over the edge. Measure the diameter of the base and choose the nearest larger size - the saucer will then remain stable even with a full, well-watered pot.

Frequently asked questions

How large a saucer should I choose for a pot?

The saucer should be wider than the base of the pot so that it can hold the water running out and remain stable. Measure the diameter of the base and choose the nearest larger size.

Are HERCULES saucers suitable outside a grow tent too?

Yes. They work just as well on a windowsill, in a conservatory and on a balcony - anywhere you do not want excess watering to run onto the surface.

Should the water be poured out of the saucer?

A small amount that the plant absorbs during the day is fine. However, if water stands in the saucer for a long time, it is better to pour it out - roots that are permanently waterlogged are poorly aerated and may rot.

What material are the saucers made of?

Hardened plastic, which is strong, easy to clean and can withstand the weight of a full pot as well as repeated use across growing cycles.
