AutoPot Hydroponic Systems
Popular self-watering systems from the AutoPot brand have been a classic that has made hydroponic plant growing easier for many years in indoor and outdoor conditions. To operate them, you do not need any source of electrical power or a timer. All you need is tap water, a sufficiently large tank or FlexiTank and gravity will take care of the rest. Daily manual watering of plants is a thing of the past!

Depending on whether you use the Autopot hydroponic system inside a grow tent or perhaps in a greenhouse, choose its size accordingly. This automatic irrigation from Great Britain offers considerable variability across individual product ranges (1pot, AQUAvalve5, easy2grow), so the complete range of this brand is suitable for truly all gardeners. AutoPot systems can also be easily expanded with additional pots in no time, and it does not matter whether you prefer growing medium in the form of soil or coconut fibre. If you grow in soil, it is worth trying a combination with practical tablet fertilisers Biotabs, however the passive irrigation of the English brand Autopot is compatible with truly any fertilisers.
All passive growing systems from this traditional manufacturer are united by a smart functional design, high efficiency and economical operation, and easy maintenance. You can leave them unattended for several days.
The AQUAvalve valve, which is the heart of every AutoPot system, ensures consistent watering of plants and precisely meets their needs. As a result, they develop a rich, branched root system, so you are set for a proper harvest and higher yields. At the same time, your plants make better use of fertilisers. AutoPot saves water, which does not disappear from the system, and is environmentally friendly.
Frequently asked questions
Does AutoPot really work without electricity and a pump?
Yes. Water flows by gravity from a raised tank, and the AQUAvalve mechanical valve controls the dosing, so you do not need a pump, timer or socket. Just place the tank above the level of the pots.
How long can the system run unattended?
Depending on the tank volume, for several days. The valve tops up water only when the plant uses it, so with a sufficiently large tank or FlexiTank you can go away for the weekend without worry.
Can I grow in soil with AutoPot, or only hydroponically?
It works with both approaches. It is suitable for soil mixes as well as coco and expanded clay; in soil, a combination with tablet fertilisers works well, but it can handle practically any nutrition.
Can the system later be expanded with additional pots?
Yes, the set is modular. Just connect another pot with a valve to the same distribution line and you can run the system from one tank.
