The favourite self-watering systems by AutoPot are a classic, which has been making hydroponic cultivation indoors and outdoors easier for years. They don't need any source of electricity or timers to reliably give your plants the irrigation they need. An AutoPot system needs only water and a tank to function - gravity takes care of the rest. Watering the plants daily by hand is a thing of the past!

How does it work? The tank is above the potted plants and connected to their trays with a pipe. When the plant uses all the water in the tray, the AQUAvalve lifts and waters them again. That way, the plants get only the water they need and exactly when they need it. You could say that with an AutoPot system, the plants regulate their own watering - and who knows better than them, right?
These passive systems are a smart, highly effective solution that helps you save on electricity, water and fertilisers. Plants develop extensive root systems in the AutoPot systems and use the added fertilisers as best as possible. AutoPot is also eco-friendly: it doesn't need electricity and effectively uses every drop of water you put into the tank without waste.
Pick an AutoPot system according to the size of the area you want to grow in. Don't worry - there's nothing easier than expanding an AutoPot system. If you decide to use a larger tent or room, you can simply connect more pots to the existing setup. All the product lines (1Pot, 1Pot XL and Easy2Grow) are incredibly variable in size and suit the needs of any gardener.
We highly recommend using BioTabs to fertilise the AutoPots, but they're compatible with nearly all fertilisers. AutoPot provides excellent results, and the growing medium (coco, soil) doesn't make a difference.
