HGA Garden propagators combine a waterproof base tray, a transparent lid and ventilation flaps, which you can use to control the humidity inside yourself. You can assemble them with Eazy Plug cubes into a ready-made set for 12 to 150 plants.

HGA Garden is a range of propagators, seed trays and accessories for raising plants from seeds and cuttings. The basis is a mini greenhouse - a waterproof lower part, a transparent lid and manual ventilation flaps, which you use to regulate the humidity inside. It is precisely stable moisture and warmth that determine whether seeds germinate and cuttings root, and a propagator keeps these conditions much more reliably than an open tray.
How to choose a propagator
- Soft propagator (32, 42) - light and affordable, ideal for trying propagation and smaller batches. It is also sold in packs of 3.
- Rigid propagator (43) - a stiffer construction that lasts longer and holds its shape better with repeated use.
- Heated propagator - adds bottom heat for faster and more even germination; the heating intensity is not adjustable on basic models.
Sets with Eazy Plug and a seed tray
The easiest option is to choose a ready-made set where the propagator, seed tray (Tray) and Eazy Plug cubes are all together. Eazy Plug cubes have stable pH and a balanced ratio of air and water, which according to the manufacturer ensures a high success rate for germination and rooting. You can choose according to the number of cells:
- CT12 Tray + Eazy Plug - 12 cubes for small batches.
- CT24 Tray + Eazy Plug - 24 cubes, a popular all-round size.
- CT77 and CT150 Tray + Eazy Plug - for large batches of seedlings at once.
For planting, biodegradable Woodee Pot pots and Woodee Strip seed strips made from natural wood fibres are also suitable, into which you transplant the seedling together with the wrapper. Frequently asked questions
What are the ventilation flaps on a propagator for?
They are used to vent excess humidity. Closed, they keep greenhouse humidity inside for germination; by opening them gradually, you harden off the seedlings and prepare them for transplanting.
Do I need a heated propagator?
It helps where the room is cold - bottom heat speeds up and evens out germination. In a warm heated flat, an unheated model is sufficient.
Can Eazy Plug cubes be bought separately?
Yes, HGA Garden offers seed trays with cubes and the cubes themselves, so you can add to your seed tray and propagator as needed.
