How Bud Candy works

Carbohydrates are an energy source for the plant, needed most during flowering, when its own reserves run low. Bud Candy supplies simple and complex carbohydrates from five sources plus magnesium. The sugars also serve as food for beneficial bacteria and fungi in the root zone, so you also support microbial life around the roots.

Dosage and use

Bud Candy is dosed at 2 ml per litre - in vegetative growth weeks 1 to 4 and in flowering weeks 1 to 7. Stop using it before flushing. It is added to the existing base as an energy- and quality-focused supplement, not as a replacement for fertiliser.

Which carbohydrate booster to use and when

Bud Candy is one of two carbohydrate supplements in the range - the other is CarboLoad. Use one of them, not both at the same time, because they serve the same role. Flower volume is handled by Big Bud, aroma and resin by Bud Factor X. The flowering base is provided by Sensi Bloom A+B.
