Microscopes

A microscope is a truly important tool for diagnosing and monitoring plant health. When growing plants, a microscope can be used to carry out detailed analyses of the cell structure and plant organs, which can provide important information about its condition and potential problems or stage of ripeness.

Times move forward, and so does our range. That is why our equipment also includes microscopes, which are very useful in practice when growing plants, and which more and more growers use so they can look at plant details literally through a closer lens, check their vitality with their own eyes, and easily detect the presence of pests or mould. And if there is nothing to check at the moment, you can always admire the brilliant structure of the plants you have planted yourself...

The pocket microscope LED ZOOM Lumagny is in high demand and provides 60-100x magnification. You can easily adjust both magnification and focus according to your current needs. This popular microscope is also equipped with a powerful LED lamp for 100% clarity.

What microscope magnification do I need?

For a quick check of leaves, pests and the overall condition of the plant, pocket models with 30x to 60x magnification are enough - these are the lightest and easiest to use directly in the tent. If you want to distinguish fine details and assess ripeness, go for 60-100x, such as the Lumagny 60-100x or Essentials models. The most powerful bench and USB microscopes offer 100-200x for a truly detailed view.

What is the LED and UV lighting on a microscope for?

The built-in LED diode illuminates even tiny details in the dimness of the tent, so you can see sharply without additional light. The UV mode (for example on VF and URBAN models) helps highlight structures that blend into normal light - useful when looking for the first signs of mould or infestation.

Which microscope should I choose for checking on a mobile phone or computer?

If you want to take a detailed photo straight away and save it, there are microscopes for smartphones (Phonescope) and USB models with connection to a computer such as PF USB 200x. HiGrade-type solutions also combine an LED microscope with an app and offer clear diagnostics directly on your phone.

How do you care for a microscope's optics?

Protect the lens from dust and fingerprints, clean it with a soft optics cloth, and store the microscope in its case. For models with LED lighting, remember to replace the batteries so the lighting delivers consistent performance.
