Trolmaster is a professional control system that turns a grow room into one connected whole - it monitors temperature, humidity, CO2, lighting, ventilation and irrigation, and switches devices exactly according to your scenario. It is the choice for a grower who wants to keep parameters under control and at the same time have protection against flooding and overheating.
How to choose Trolmaster
The basis is the main control unit with a sensor, to which you add modules according to what you need to control. The deciding factors are the size of the space and how many devices you want to control:
- Hydro-X (HCS-1) - control unit with a 3-in-1 sensor (temperature, humidity, light) for one growing space.
- Hydro-X Pro / Plus (HCS-2, HCS-3) - advanced 4-in-1 control for more demanding and larger grow rooms with multiple zones.
- Tent-X (TCS-1) - compact main unit for one tent, also available in a set with an EC fan.
- Aqua-X - a separate branch for irrigation control, measuring pH, EC and solution temperature in the tank.
Modules and sensors for every task
Trolmaster's strength lies in its modularity. For lighting, you connect the LMA adapter (for example LMA-14 for lights with a 0-10 V protocol or LMA-13 for Sun System ballasts), for CO2 you add the MBS-S8 sensor, and for humidity the DSH device station. Those who want simpler standalone controllers can choose the Beta range - Beta-8 monitors CO2 concentration, Beta-2 controls fan speed according to temperature. The accuracy of the entire network then depends on the sensors: Hydro-X control unit, pH and EC probes in the tank and RJ12 splitters.

Do I need the whole system to start, or is the basic setup enough?
The basic setup is enough. You buy the main unit (Hydro-X or Tent-X) with a sensor and add modules gradually as you add devices to control. The system grows with you.
Can Trolmaster control LED and discharge lamps?
Yes. Through LMA adapters, it controls both LED and HID lighting with low-voltage control - LMA-14 handles lights with a 0-10 V protocol, and other versions are designed for specific brands and ballasts.
Can it handle CO2 and humidity control at the same time?
It can. You can connect the MBS-S8 CO2 sensor and a device station for a humidifier or dehumidifier to one Hydro-X unit, and the system controls them together according to the set values.
Is the Aqua-X branch different from Hydro-X?
Yes. Hydro-X handles the climate of the growing space, while Aqua-X takes care of irrigation and monitoring of the nutrient solution - pH, EC and water temperature in the tank. Both branches complement each other in a professional grow room.
