Measuring Cups
Measuring cups for fertilisers used by gardeners and farmers for accurate measuring and application of fertilisers. They help ensure the correct dosing of fertilisers, which is key to healthy plant growth and maximising yields. When using measuring cups for fertilisers, it is important to follow the recommended dosages and procedures to avoid an excess or shortage of nutrients for plants. Each plant and soil may require a different amount of fertiliser, so it is advisable to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the fertiliser.

In this section you will find all accessories for the precise application of products used in plant cultivation at home and outdoors. The range for mixing, measuring and dosing especially nutrient solutions includes pipettes, syringes and laboratory plastic measuring cups with a funnel in various volumes (50 ml to 5 litres).
How to choose a measuring cup according to the dose
Choose the tool according to the volume you are measuring. For small doses of concentrated fertilisers and stimulators in millilitres, reach for a pipette or syringe - they dose accurately in ml units. For preparing a whole watering can or tank of nutrient solution, use large-volume measuring cups from 250 ml to 5 litres, or glass-precise graduated cylinders. Accurate dosing pays off: overdosing risks salting the substrate, while underdosing leaves the plant short of nutrients. pH and EC metres also go hand in hand with measuring cups, allowing you to check the resulting solution.
Frequently asked questions
How do you measure a small amount of fertiliser accurately?
For doses in millilitres, use a pipette or a syringe with a scale - you can read exactly the amount the fertiliser manufacturer prescribes per litre of water. For very small doses, a syringe is more reliable than a measuring cup.
What should you use to mix nutrient solution for the whole tank?
You can measure larger volumes of water with a large-volume measuring cup of 1 - 5 litres, then add individual fertilisers with a smaller measuring cup or syringe. After mixing, we recommend checking the EC and pH of the solution.
Can measuring cups be used repeatedly?
Yes, plastic measuring cups, pipettes and syringes can be used repeatedly after rinsing with clean water. Always rinse them between different products to prevent concentrates from mixing.
