Heating
Optimal temperature is necessary for us as well as for plants. It is especially important during pre-growing of seedlings, germination and cloning, or for growers of exotic plants. The tubular greenhouse heater can handle higher humidity, and it can be controlled by an external thermostat. Popular is also a heater with a built-in thermostat, and for larger growing rooms classic radiators.

Optimal temperature is a key aspect of the ideal climate inside a grow tent or in any room that every grower needs to control in order to achieve a rich harvest. If you do not use heating for plants at the moment, it will also come in handy in the home.
In winter and during cold months, effective heating is essential. Plants need a stable climate for perfect health and maximising yields. An efficient heating element also solves sudden night-time temperature drops, which often represent one of the abiotic stress factors.
Heating a larger growing room is provided by a modern radiator. You will find larger and smaller radiators with us not only at exclusive prices, but also in a wide range of variants. We have in stock the smallest tubular heater for a grow box as well as powerful heating units for larger growing spaces such as a greenhouse or conservatory. You will also find a heater with a built-in thermostat made in the Czech Republic (Malapa).
In this category you will also find heating mats. They are suitable for pre-growing and cloning - young plants prefer a higher temperature. Once the plants are bigger, you can use it for drying shoes, warming cold feet or improving a pet bed, which every cat will appreciate.
Automatic control of your heating is provided by the Lighthouse Wireless Thermostat with remote control or a classic thermostat that can handle higher loads.
Frequently asked questions about heating for plants
What temperature is ideal for plants?
Most plants in the growth stage benefit from a daytime temperature of around 22 to 26 °C, and a few degrees less at night. The key is to avoid sudden drops - stable warmth is more important for health and yield than reaching a specific peak.
Which heating should I choose for a grow box and which for a greenhouse?
For a smaller tent, an energy-efficient tubular heater with low power input that does not dry out the air is suitable. A greenhouse, conservatory or larger growing room will be reliably heated by a radiator or a more powerful heating unit. Choose according to the volume of the space, not just the area.
Do I need a thermostat for heating?
We highly recommend it. A thermostat keeps the set temperature, switches the heating on only when needed and thus saves energy. You can use a wireless thermostat, a classic thermostat or heating with a thermostat built directly into the device.
What is a heating mat for?
A heating mat gently warms the root zone from below, which young plants appreciate most during germination, cuttings and pre-growing - in warmth they root faster and get off to a better start in growth.
