The ARS-1 mini-split air conditioner controller is a unique product that solves the age-old problem of separately setting day and night temperatures on a mini-split air conditioner. The ARS-1 is a universal controller that works with most mini-split air conditioners (and also with some window air conditioning units), provided the unit was supplied with an IR/infrared remote control. To “teach” these IR signals to the ARS-1 module, we use the remote control supplied with the unit. Once the ARS-1 module has “learned” these remote control codes, the ARS-1 will transmit the same signals to the indoor main unit of the mini-split and automatically change the set value to the required day or night temperature setting based on the photocell status.

*Note: The ARS-1 device is currently not compatible with devices from the following brands: Daiken, Mr. Cool, Innovair, Denali Aire, Cooper and Hunter.

*Firmware update notice: To update the firmware of TrolMaster controllers and modules, a Micro SD card with a capacity of 32 GB or less must be used.
