The TrolMaster Carbon-X system provides critical CO2 level monitoring for up to 13 separate zones / rooms. The system can have both high-level alerts (up to 30,000 ppm) and low-level alerts (5,000 ppm). Both the high and low limits are user-adjustable to meet local regulations for supplementary indoor CO2 use.

The Carbon-X system can also control various devices, such as fans, dampers, main CO2 valves, and also send a signal to the fire brigade via connection to the fire / alarm panel in the building. Automatic CO2 shut-off is carried out by connecting the building's main CO2 solenoid in series with one of the system's control modules. The settings of each device connected to the system can be user-selected and easily customised.

Each room monitored by the Carbon-X system will also require an audiovisual alarm to alert staff to the CO2 level in the space and whether or not it is safe to move around in that area.

The TrolMaster app can be used for remote monitoring of Carbon-X equipment and also for receiving user alerts / notifications if a high CO2 level is detected.
