The AS-2 CO2 alarm station is an audio-visual alarm module equipped with a colour LED indicator and a digital ppm level display on an LCD screen. It is designed for installation outside growing rooms or growing equipment to monitor CO2 ppm levels. The AS-2 module can be connected to one of the channels of the AL-1 or AL-2 CO2 sensors, or it can be connected to both sensor channels for complete redundancy.

The green LED indicator shows that the CO2 level is lower than 800 ppm, which means that entry into the room is safe. The yellow LED indicator shows a CO2 level equal to or higher than 800ppm, which means that supplementary CO2 is being used. If the CO2 level exceeds the user-preferred level set in the main Carbon-X control unit, the AS-2 unit triggers an audible alarm and the red LED indicator flashes.

*Note: The AS-2 requires an SPH-1 for additional power supply.
