That is exactly what TankBot is – the most versatile and precise module in the GroLab range, designed for complete automation of water tank management. Whether you grow tomatoes in hydroponics, herbs in a grow box or chilli peppers on a large scale, TankBot gives you absolute control and peace of mind.

Your plants will always get exactly what they need. TankBot is the brain of your irrigation and allows you to achieve consistent results with minimal effort.

• Comprehensive tank management: Automatically monitors and regulates pH and water temperature. After connecting the optional EC probe, you also gain full control over the nutrient concentration in the solution.
• Precise dosing of nutrients and additives: Thanks to four 12V outputs, you can connect, for example, peristaltic pumps and create a fully automated system for dosing fertilisers and pH regulators.
• Flexible peripheral connection: In addition to pumps, solenoid valves, relays or contactors can be connected to the 4 independently controlled outputs for controlling irrigation, lighting or ventilation.
• Expandable and safe system: Up to 4 switching sensors, such as water level sensors, smoke detectors or motion detectors, can be connected to the module, creating advanced safety protocols.
• Scalability for large projects: Up to four TankBot modules can be connected to one central GroNode unit, allowing you to control complex systems with multiple tanks.

Full automation and safe operation

With TankBot, you can set up advanced automation scenarios. Let the system automatically top up water in the tank as soon as the level drops, or programme a complete replacement of the nutrient solution at regular intervals. Thanks to support for safety sensors, the system will immediately alert you to water leakage, smoke or another anomaly and can automatically activate programmed steps – for example, switch off pumps or lighting.

Easy connection and control

TankBot communicates wirelessly (2.4 GHz) with the GroNode base unit over a distance of up to 25 metres indoors. All settings, real-time monitoring and data analysis are carried out conveniently via the freely available GroLab Software. If GroNode is connected to the internet, you can control and check the entire system from anywhere and receive e-mail notifications. For quick manual interventions, the module is also equipped with physical buttons, and its status is indicated by clear LED indicators.
