Wireless replacement for the UIS cable
AC Infinity UIS 1-to-1 Wireless Transmitter & Receiver is a wireless pair that replaces the wired UIS connection between the controller and the device (fan, light, etc.). It solves situations where running a UIS cable is not practical - the transmitter plugs into the controller's UIS port, the receiver into the UIS device, and the connection between them is wireless.
How pairing and connection work
The pair operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency with direct 1-to-1 pairing and a non-interchangeable ID code, which ensures a stable exclusive connection - the pair cannot be swapped with another. The connection works independently of the internet or WiFi, so control continues even during a network outage. Response is at the millisecond level, ensuring precise control of temperature, humidity, VPD triggers, timers and schedules.
Range decreases with the number of transmitters
The maximum range is 26 ft (line of sight/through walls) when using 1 transmitter on the controller. As the number of transmitters used simultaneously increases, the range decreases: 2 transmitters max. 16 ft, 3-8 transmitters max. 10 ft. Each pair controls 1 device and uses 1 UIS port on the controller.
