BETA-2 can control variable-speed fans using the current temperature to increase or decrease fan speed. Increasing the fan speed increases cooling... decreasing the fan speed reduces the cooling output. Using the BETA-2 system in this way provides a VERY economical and efficient way to deal with heat in an enclosed space.
