TrolMaster DCC-1 is a simple solution for controlling one device with more than one condition. For example, people like to switch on extract fans when the temperature or humidity is too high; switch off CO2 when they switch on extract fans. There are many other examples where two conditions can either be combined or separated.

DCC-1 is intended for use in combination with one of the TrolMaster plug-in style modules. (DSC-1, DSH-1/2, DST-1/2, DSP-1/2, DSV-1 and DSD-1).

Once connected to the plug-in module using the RJ12 cable built into the DCC-1, the DCC-1 will work with this plug-in module and control any device connected to the plug-in module.

DCC-1 can also be set to work in two different ways using the "Interlock" function.

INTERLOCK OFF (INTERLOCK OFF): When the DCC-1 interlock function is set to off, EACH condition associated with the given pair of modules being used together can be activated individually to activate the device. (modules used "in parallel").

Examples of the above for interlock off would be as follows:
- Switching on an extract fan to reduce temperature or humidity.
- Switching on an extract fan at night using a recirculation timer OR when humidity is too high.

INTERLOCK ON: When DCC-1 interlock on is selected, BOTH conditions associated with the given pair of modules being used together must be activated for the device to be activated TOGETHER. (modules used "in series").

Examples of the above for interlock on would be as follows:  
- Switching off the CO2 device when the extract fan is running.
- Switching off the lights if the space gets too warm.
