The Guardian Monitor Connect Wi-Fi is an inline version of the proven Bluelab monitor - instead of immersing the probes in a tank, they are screwed with a 3/4" NPT thread directly into the piping. It is suitable for recirculation and flow systems where you want to measure pH, EC and solution temperature precisely where it flows.

Probe built for pressure in piping

The inline pH probe withstands pressure up to 7 bar (100 psi) and turbulence, so it can operate directly in the line. The probe is replaceable (BNC connector) and protected by a storage cap with KCl solution. The package also includes a reducer from 3/4" to 1" NPT for easy installation.

Alarms and remote overview

You set upper and lower limits for pH, EC and temperature, and the monitor triggers an alarm as soon as a value deviates. Via built-in Wi-Fi and the Edenic app, you receive notifications on your phone and can monitor data and its history. The LED display brightness is adjustable, so you can adapt the device even to darker growing spaces.

Accurate measurement of three parameters

The monitor measures pH 0-14 (accuracy ±0.1), EC 0-5.0 and temperature 0-50 °C. Conductivity is also displayed as CF, PPM 500 (0-2500) or PPM 700 (0-3500) - PPM differs by scale, so always follow the one your fertiliser programme uses. Only pH is calibrated (two-point calibration with pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions), EC and temperature probes are factory calibrated. The device is powered from mains.

Inline or tank version?

Choose this inline version when you want to install the probes permanently into the piping of a recirculation system. If you want to immerse the probes only in a tank, the wall-mounted Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi is suitable. And if the device should also dose pH or nutrients itself, opt for the pH Controller or Pro Controller.

Probe care and consumables

Keep the glass pH probe in the KCl storage cap and do not let it dry out. Operation requires pH 4 calibration solution and pH 7, and after some time also a replacement inline pH probe (note that a standard immersion probe does not fit piping). Why measure? pH controls nutrient uptake - outside the range it blocks; target EC is managed according to the dosing table of your fertiliser brand.

What is the difference between Guardian Monitor and Guardian Monitor Connect?

The Guardian Monitor has immersion probes that you place in a tank. The Guardian Monitor Connect is an inline version - probes are screwed with a 3/4" NPT thread directly into the piping and measure the flowing solution in the recirculation system. Measured parameters and ranges are the same for both versions.

Can the probe withstand pressure in the piping?

Yes. The inline pH probe is designed for pressure up to 7 bar (100 psi) and withstands turbulence in the line. It is installed with a 3/4" NPT thread, and the package includes a reducer to 1" NPT. A standard immersion pH probe is not suitable for this purpose - use the inline replacement probe.

Can the monitor adjust pH by itself?

No, the Guardian Monitor Connect only measures the solution and monitors alarms. For automatic pH dosing, use the Bluelab pH Controller; for controlling pH and nutrients, use the Pro Controller with PeriPod dosing units. You can add a dosing unit to the monitor at any time.
