Aqua Master Tools W650 PRO Inline measures where the water flows. The electrodes screw directly into the pipe, so you read pH, EC, TDS, PPM and temperature values from the real flow - without taking samples and without a separate measuring chamber.

Important before purchase: the product does not have a built-in display and must be connected to a mobile phone or tablet via the app. Please take this into account when planning space in the technical room.

Inline installation

The inline electrodes have a 3/4" external thread and screw directly into the tapping saddle on the pipe. They are rated for water pressure up to 6 bar, so you can use them even in pressurised systems and fertigation branches where an immersion probe would not be suitable. Depending on the pipe diameter, choose the 40 mm tapping saddle or the 50 mm saddle; the saddle clamps around the pipe and the hole is drilled only after tightening, so you do not need to cut the main line. All inline electrodes are fully replaceable.

Measurement runs continuously, even when nobody is at the system, and automatic temperature compensation offsets the effect of water temperature. The device works with the 700 PPM scale; if you compare it with a metre on the 500 scale, the same EC will give a different number.

What the app can do

The app replaces the display and also serves as a logger. You can see live values of all parameters, data history up to 1 year back, and set upper and lower alarms for pH, EC, PPM, TDS and temperature. If they are exceeded, a notification will arrive on your phone, so you will not miss a dosing error until the next check. The app guides you through calibration step by step and reminds you of the next date. You can name your devices and add notes to them; in one app you manage an unlimited number of inline and standard Aqua Master Tools devices. The unit has an integrated holder for a phone or tablet, so you have the screen at hand when working on the system.

Calibration and electrode care

You calibrate pH with one, two or three points at values of 4.0, 7.0 and 10.0 pH, and EC with one point using a 1.4, 3.0 or 12.88 EC solution. For normal operation, a two-point pH calibration with pH 4 solution and pH 7 solution is sufficient, and for EC use the EC 1.413 solution. We do not offer a pH 10.0 solution for the third point, and you can do without it for nutrient solutions. Do not let the glass pH electrode dry out during downtime and store it in the KCl storage solution.

Inline, or standard W650 PRO

There is only one question: where does the water stand and where does it flow? If you have a reservoir in which you mix the solution and let it settle, the standard W650 PRO with immersion probes is enough. But as soon as nutrients move through a pressurised line - drip irrigation, fertigation, inline dosing system - you need to measure in the flow and an immersion probe has nowhere to go. Then this inline version with a 3/4" thread and 6 bar pressure resistance comes into play. Both versions use the same app and can be operated side by side: the reservoir is monitored by the standard monitor, the output to the line by the inline version.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy anything else for installation?

Yes, to connect to the pipe you need a tapping saddle with a 3/4" thread in a diameter matching your line - we offer versions for 40 mm and 50 mm. The electrode screws into the saddle and the pressurised lines up to 6 bar are handled without any additional reducers. Measure the pipe diameter in advance with a vernier calliper, as the markings on the fittings can be misleading.

Can the W650 PRO Inline dose nutrients or pH Down?

No. The inline version is a monitor: it measures, records and alerts you with a notification, but it does not add anything to the line itself. For automatic dosing in pressurised piping, the C800 PRO Inline controller together with the peristaltic dosing units of the C series is used.
