The Guardian Monitor Wi-Fi is a wall-mounted measuring device for growers who rely on a stable nutrient solution - in hydroponics, coco, and recirculation systems. Instead of occasional manual measurement, it continuously monitors pH, conductivity (EC), and temperature, with large LED digits showing the tank status at a glance.

Continuous overview and peace of mind thanks to alarms

You set upper and lower limits for pH and EC, and the monitor itself checks whether the solution stays within range. When a value deviates, it alerts you - and with Wi-Fi enabled, it sends a notification to your phone via the Edenic app. This way, you catch fluctuations before plants start to suffer, whether you are at the tank or on the move.

Accurate measurement of three parameters

The monitor measures pH in the range 0-14 (accuracy ±0.1), EC 0-5.0, and temperature 0-50 °C. Conductivity is also displayed as CF, PPM 500 (0-2500), or PPM 700 (0-3500) - however, the PPM value differs depending on the scale used, so always monitor the one your fertiliser program uses. The supplied pH probe is replaceable (BNC connector), and the combined EC/temperature probe is factory calibrated. Only pH requires calibration, done two-point with pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions.

Permanent connection without batteries

The device is powered from the mains (100-240 V) and retains settings in internal memory even after power outages. Both probes have 2 m cables, so you can hang the monitor on the wall and the probes reach the tank. The package includes the monitor, pH probe, holder with suction cup, mounting materials, power adapters, and sachets with calibration solutions (pH 4.0 and 7.0) plus storage KCl solution.

Guardian Monitor or Controller?

The Guardian Monitor measures and monitors values - you adjust the solution manually. If you want the device to dose pH or nutrients automatically, choose the pH Controller (doses pH) or Pro Controller (controls pH and nutrients). Probe care and consumables

Store the glass pH probe in storage (KCl) solution and do not let it dry out. You will regularly need pH 4 calibration solution and pH 7, KCl storage solution, and eventually a replacement pH probe. Why measure at all? pH controls nutrient uptake - outside the range (approximately 5.5-6.5 for hydroponics and coco), uptake is blocked. Frequently asked questions

Can the Guardian Monitor adjust pH automatically?

No. The Guardian Monitor only measures, displays, and monitors values with alarms - you adjust pH or nutrients manually. For automatic dosing, you need the Bluelab pH Controller, which doses pH, or the Pro Controller, which controls pH and nutrients via PeriPod dosers.

Do I need to calibrate the monitor?

Only the pH probe requires calibration, done two-point with pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions. The EC and temperature probes are factory calibrated and do not require calibration. We recommend recalibrating pH approximately every 30 days and storing the probe in KCl storage solution in between to prevent drying out.

What is the difference between PPM 500 and PPM 700?

They are two different scales for converting conductivity to dissolved salt quantity. The same EC gives different numbers, so the monitor displays both (PPM 500 up to 2500, PPM 700 up to 3500). Always monitor the scale your fertiliser program uses, otherwise you compare incomparable values.
