Increasing pH and a source of silicon in one
Increasing pH may sound unusual to growers in areas with hard water, but with very soft water or water after reverse osmosis it is a common need. Terra Aquatica pH+ makes this adjustment possible and is also a good source of available silicate.
Why silicon matters
Silicon is often lacking in hydroponics because it does not dissolve well. An adequate level of silicates contributes significantly to plant health, so Terra Aquatica adds it to its products whenever possible. With pH+ you adjust the reaction of the solution and at the same time supplement silicon.
Dosing and safety
Add gradually to water or solution, measure the pH again and adjust further. Suitable for nutrient solutions in soil, coco and inert substrates. It is corrosive - work carefully and use protective equipment; check the pH with pH test or a pH metre.
What goes well with it
For lowering pH, use Terra Aquatica pH- or the powdered version pH- Powder. Soft and osmosis water also usually lacks calcium and magnesium - supplement them with CalMag.
