Terra Aquatica pH- Powder is the only powder pH regulator on the market. While dry, it is inert and easy to handle; only after mixing in water does it become a strong acid that reliably lowers the pH of the nutrient solution. This dry form solves the biggest weakness of liquid acids - their demanding and sometimes postage-restricted transport.

Why adjust pH at all

pH regulation is essential for growers: it keeps mineral salts available and stabilises chelates, so the plant can actually absorb nutrients. pH- Powder also supplies some nutrients during adjustment - nitrates that support growth without limiting flowering, and phosphates for healthy roots, abundant leaves and flowering.

Dosage and other uses

To adjust pH, mix 1 g into 5 to 6 litres of water, measure the pH with a pH test and adjust the dose as needed. At a higher concentration (1 g per litre), it can be used to clean and disinfect pipes and systems - leave overnight and then rinse through. Diluted to 1 g per 10 litres, it works as a foliar rinse after treatment with products.
