Product detailed description

Clean restart for the root zone

In every growing system, fertiliser residues and excess salts gradually build up, clogging drippers, forming deposits on the surface of the substrate and, over time, stressing plants and damaging roots. Terra Aquatica FlashClean was developed specifically to dissolve mineral salts: it breaks the bonds between minerals and the substrate and allows excess residues to be flushed out. At the same time, it helps the plant make better use of the remaining nutrients, especially in the crucial week before harvest. Unlike other flushes, it is not an acid, does not work on the basis of enzymes and does not add any magnesium or other minerals to the system - so it gives plants a clean start at any stage.

How to use FlashClean

Simply mix with water adjusted to the correct pH and apply. In recirculating systems, add 1.5 to 3 ml/l to the existing solution and leave to circulate for 24 hours before replacing the nutrient solution; choose the lower dose for young and delicate plants, the higher dose for mature plants close to harvest. Use the same ratio to deal with over-fertilisation or nutrient lockout. In soil and coco, water with 1.5 to 3 ml/l until runoff from the bottom of the container. For the final flush, use 3 ml/l for the last two days before harvest. Do not apply FlashClean more often than once every two weeks.

The ideal partner for the finish

FlashClean works best in combination with the ripening agent FinalPart: it flushes nitrogen residues and other salts from the substrate, so FinalPart can then mobilise nitrates more effectively and improve the taste of the harvest. Instead of a long ten-day flush with water, two days with FlashClean are enough. It also prepares the substrate just as well before using the powder ripening agent HyperBloom.

Frequently asked questions

How often should FlashClean be used?

At most once every two weeks. In soil and coco, include it in regular maintenance roughly once every fifteen days, and leave the stronger dose for plants close to harvest.

Can I use it instead of a final flush with water?

Yes, that is one of its main uses. Apply 3 ml/l during the last two days before harvest - this increases sugar content instead of losing aroma through a long flush with water.

What should I combine it with?

Best with the ripening agent FinalPart or HyperBloom. FlashClean removes residual salts from the substrate before them, so the ripening agent works at full capacity.

Exact dosage for individual stages and media can be found in the Terra Aquatica dosing table.
