More than just an acid for lowering pH

Terra Aquatica pH- is used for premium adjustment and stabilisation of pH in hydroponics, coco and soil. It is not a simple acid: it carefully blends three acids that are commonly used separately in hydroponics, combining their benefits without the drawbacks.

How the blend works

Nitric and phosphoric acid do the main work of lowering the water pH, and their combination does not upset the nitrogen and potassium ratio in growth or flowering, nor does it leave a deposit on the surface of the tank like pure phosphoric acid can in hard water. The organic citric acid then buffers the pH over time, keeps the solution more stable and helps manage excess calcium in hard water.

Dosing and safety

Add in small doses to water or the finished solution, measure the pH again and adjust as needed. The recommended range is roughly 5.5 to 6.2. This is a concentrated acid - work carefully, use protective equipment and check the pH with a pH test or pH metre.
