Re-Plant is an innovative growing pot that allows plants to be grown without the need for repotting throughout the cycle. Thanks to the system of gradually expanding volume, the root system develops naturally and without stress.

Detailed information

Product detailed description

Re-Plant is a growing container with a patented system of two pull-out dividers that divide it horizontally into three separate chambers. The plant is planted once and stays in place throughout the growing cycle - the roots grow into the next tier exactly when their development requires more space. Transplanting is eliminated completely, and with it the stress that otherwise always temporarily slows growth and delays the onset of flowering.

How the system works

The dividers inserted into the side grooves divide the container into three separate layers. Each can be filled with a different substrate - light and aerated for germination, nutritious for vegetation, phosphorus and potassium rich for flowering. The plant is seeded from the top and stays there all the time. The roots naturally grow downwards - as soon as they reach the bulkhead they are forced to branch out densely in width. This air pruning actively strengthens the root system. At the right moment, simply pull the bulkhead out from the side - the roots immediately continue into the fresh substrate below, without the plant needing to be touched in any way.

The procedure for activating the rootstocks

Upper tier This is where the plant is planted. Widest section (24.5 × 24.5 cm), shallow depth approximately 6 cm. The roots are first spread over the entire area.
Bulkhead 1 - pull out from the side as it enters the vegetative phase
Middle tier Approximately 12 cm deep. Roots grow into the substrate for vegetation. Fill with soil with higher nitrogen content.
Bulkhead 2 - pull out from the side as it enters the flowering phase
Bottom tier Deepest layer (~18 cm), largest volume (~6 l). Fill with phosphorus- and potassium-rich substrate. Roots have maximum space in the most demanding phase.

Three tiers - an overview

The total volume of the container is approximately 11 litres. The container expands at the top (mouth 24,5 × 24,5 cm, bottom 16 × 16 cm). The top tier is therefore the widest and also the flattest - deliberately forcing the roots to branch out in the early stages. The lower tier is the narrowest in cross-section, but with the greatest depth it reaches the greatest volume, which the plant uses to its full potential when flowering.

1
Upper tier - germination and early growth
depth ~6 cm | 24,5 × 24,5 cm
The widest and flattest layer. Roots develop in width and form a dense, flat network before they reach the space below. A light, well permeable starter substrate or coir is recommended.
2
Middle tier - vegetation
depth ~12 cm
Activated by pulling out the first septum at the beginning of the vegetative phase. Roots naturally grow into deeper substrate with higher nitrogen content for vigorous above-ground growth.
3
Bottom floor - flowering
depth ~18 cm | bottom 16 × 16 cm
Largest volume. Activated by the second partition at the transition to flowering. A substrate with a higher phosphorus and potassium content ensures optimal conditions for the roots in the most demanding phase of the growing cycle.
The volumes given are approximate. They have been calculated from the geometry of the conical container with the estimated depth distribution of the product photograph. The manufacturer does not provide exact values for each tier.

Detailed seeding procedure

  1. Container preparation. Insert both baffles into the side grooves - the vessel is now divided into three separate chambers. Fill each one with the substrate corresponding to the appropriate stage of development.
  2. Seeding. Plant a seed, sprout or seedling in the upper tier in the same way as in a regular pot. No special procedure is needed.
  3. Germination and early vegetation. The plant develops in the shallow upper tier. The roots hit the bulkhead and branch out wide - a dense, broadly developed root system is formed.
  4. Vegetative phase - activation of the middle tier. Pull the first septum out from the side when vegetative growth is evident. The roots immediately continue into the middle tier with fresh substrate. The plant is not disturbed in any way.
  5. Flowering - activation of the lower tier. Pull out the second bulkhead as it enters the flowering phase. The root system now has approximately 11 litres of flowering medium available.
  6. Harvesting and maintenance. After harvesting, disassemble the container, clean the palate and prepare for the next cycle.

The main advantages

  • No transplanting - the plant stays in one container from germination to harvest, with no gaps in development
  • Air root pruning - baffles interrupt spiral growth and stimulate dense branching; roots take up nutrients and water more efficiently
  • Phase optimisation of the substrate - each tier can be filled with a different composition exactly matching the needs of the plant; this is not possible in a conventional pot
  • Zero transplanting stress - the root system is never disturbed; the plant grows smoothly and starts flowering without delay
  • Natural root growth dynamics - the flat branching in the upper tier gradually changes to deep penetration; exactly as roots work in nature
  • Maximum yield at flowering time - the largest volume of substrate is available when the plant needs it most
  • Reusable - robust, demountable design for easy cleaning
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor growing

Who is Re-Plant for?

  • Beginning growers - the process is straightforward: plant normally and pull the dividers out according to the stage of development
  • Experienced growers - full control over the composition of the substrate in each tier and the development of the root system at all stages
  • Indoor growers - square shape fits growboxes and grow tents, efficient use of space
  • Autoflowering and fast cultivar growers - eliminating transplanting stress results in a smoother cycle
  • Growers of vegetables, peppers, tomatoes and herbs - the system works for any single crop with an increasing need for root space
